Passivhaus Eurogate BPL 7

This BAI passive energy building project comprises 29 subsidized rental units as well as 36 subsidized and 20 privately financed condominium units. Entry to the building, which is wheelchair accessible, is through bright, partially glazed stairwells on the north-east side. The first two floors have been combined into duplex apartments, providing space for both living and working. Loggias and balconies – some with a view of the park – offer attractive, private exterior areas. The staggered placement of balconies on each floor creates an interesting play of light and shadow across the façade. The loggias along the length of the apartments also provide shading to protect against summer overheating.
